Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Sarah.

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate offering integrative psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, grief, relationship challenges, and periods of change.

I work with individuals seeking greater understanding of their inner world and support in moving toward meaningful, sustainable change.

My background includes 15 years of experience as a registered nurse, supporting individuals through complex and vulnerable life experiences. This work continues to inform my respect for the resilience of the human system and the importance of compassionate, thoughtful care.

I aim to offer a warm, grounded therapeutic space where all parts of your experience are welcome.

What is Inner Ecology?

The concept of Inner Ecology comes from the understanding that our inner world functions like an ecosystem — interconnected, adaptive, alive, and capable of healing when the conditions are supportive.

Thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, relationships, and past experiences interact in dynamic ways that shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

My work focuses on helping people understand the patterns within their inner world and supporting meaningful, sustainable change.

Much like natural ecosystems, humans thrive when there is balance, connection, diversity, and space for growth.

Rather than viewing distress as something to eliminate, I often see it as meaningful information arising within a larger system. Healing does not always begin with fixing ourselves. Sometimes it begins with curiosity, compassion, and learning to listen more deeply.

Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with me?”, I am often more interested in exploring:

“What is happening within me, and what might it need?”

My hope is to support people in developing a deeper relationship with themselves, their emotions, their bodies, their communities, and the natural world.
